Hello! I’m Anthony.

I started The Late Brake after getting the idea while watching Top Gear for the 10,000th time at about 2 am on a Tuesday. I have always had cars in my life, whether that was wrenching on my project car, playing Gran Turismo, reading MotorTrend, or pretty much any way I could get my hands on cars. I love everything about cars and was searching for yet another outlet to waste all of my time and money. So I thought to myself, why not write about the car culture I love some much?
If you made it this far, you probably already know what the site is about, so I’ll spare you from repeating content and talk about myself a little bit. You can typically find me at Cars & Coffee, autocrossing, or in the garage working on my never-ending project car on the weekends. I’ve done multiple track days, been to numerous motorsport events and was even a BMWCCA Communications Director for 4 years. However, my biggest car vice is Formula 1. I LOVE FORMULA 1. Ever since I watched the movie Rush, I fell in love and have been glued to my TV every other Sunday at 5 am to watch. I have been fortunate enough to attend 4 Grand Prix so far, including the 2022 Dutch GP. While I am more than lucky to say that, I’m hoping it’s just the beginning as I have my sights set on a few more.
I am excited to dive headfirst into the automotive circus; I need to make sure I bring my helmet. I hope you enjoy The Late Brake as much as I do.
